In its second decade, the Hastings Highlands Hilly Hundred has been built on its exceptionally challenging and beautiful road courses. In the past two years it has added gravel courses to match and exceed the road challenges. It is a well- established Charity Ride in Bancroft with more food than you can handle. There are four, yes four, courses. Back by popular demand, we have added a shorter road course in the tradition of the original Hilly. A 100 km ish Canadian Century, a full Century 160 km ish road ride, a 125 km ish gravel route; and a shorter 80 km ish gravel route. Riders from last year were challenged to the point of exhaustion on the long gravel course. The fall gravel roads are as spectacular as the paved ones and all the hills you have come to expect from the Hilly. All four will weave you through the colourful fall hardwood forests, lakes, hills and valleys of the Canadian Shield. This is a spectacular, fun and challenging Charity Ride to wrap up your summer cycling season. It is not a race but no one is going to stop you from riding your best. Each course will be a full Strava segment that you can post and share as you see fit. We all strive for our personal bests.
